About the event

Summer is a special time where friends and family gather and socialize with no specific reason. As the warm weather brings out warm feelings and the desire to be out and enjoying beautiful British Columbia, it also brings out the warm feelings of thankfulness and connection. 

This Summer party has been a tradition for me; every year I host a summer party with a different theme just to bring everyone together to celebrate another beautiful time in Vancouver, and to hopefully bring connection and warmth to each other. This year, the annual Summer Party holds a much more personal factor to it, which motivates me to make it bigger and better, but with it I once again will need a little bit of help to fulfil my goals and dreams. 

Why should you sponsor?

Last October, an incident occured which resulted in my pet Ginger being attacked by another dog. The owner unforunately denied responsibility, and it was due to the support of all my friends and family, that I have been able to make it through, and finally come to a point where not only have I found peace, but will soon find closure. 

This party is not only a part of a tradition for me, but it is also a big THANK YOU to everyone in my life who has supported me throughout this journey. Without them, I would not be able to get this far and finally find and end to the incident.

Hello! My name is Nina! 

I am a Employment Specialist working for a Social Services Organization. I believe in helping others and supporting others in achieving not only their dreams, but whatever personal goals they may have. 

Being connected and showing gratitidue is a great motivator for me, and is something that I live by. I want to be able to help others feel and be connected through my events and life. This party is aimed to be a big event where people can socialize, but also a chance for me to show my gratitidue towards the people in my life.
