Suicide Prevention,

Chars, Île-de-France, France Chars, Île-de-France, France

  • About the event

The active members of Youth for Tomorrow (YHT) are exercising in some ways to host a community discussion event focusing on an alarming issue of suicidal crisis, which has being observed in our community, on Thursday, May 24, 2015. As of today, many Bhutanese folks have committed suicides, so we feel that it is our moral responsibility to draw our sociable approaches in order to minimize the negative effects this social problem. According to….. (Mention the credible source) about 24 in every 100,000, Bhutanese refugees have committed suicide soon after the resettlement. Also, nearly twenty-one percentage are said to be suffered from depression, which is three times the national rate of the United States of America. We believe that there are many factors such as depression, cultural shock, and language barrier etc. that may affect the social, mental, psychological, and emotional aspects of these victims’ health. When the pressure exerted by these problems make them feel very stressed and fatigued, our people lose their hopes to live. These might be the panicked reasons that lead our people in giving off their invaluable lives. Therefore, we would like to take an initiative in holding an open discussion session with aim of getting your helpful inputs and suggestions. Your constructive opinions will assist us in shaping our social concerns and efforts.

We love to collaborate with every interested individuals to work on this project because you are an integral part of our community. Your small part of monetary assistance will help us in buying and managing several needed resources while functioning this suicidal prevention based social campaign. Therefore, our motto is to create a huge difference in our communal strategies so that we together could build a cohesive community.

We are expecting to raise $___________ as a part of donation from our community.  We wholeheartedly request everyone to join us in making this event successful. Your generous support in many ways is greatly appreciated. We are warmly thanks for your support and encouragement on a part of advocating this important issue. We are looking forward in getting your constructive responses.
    Thanks,
