About the event

This is a hand-up training event teaching people who are down-and-out, the basics of good hair and nail hygiene and upkeep, ideal presentation for job interviews on literally shoestring budgets, etc.

The hair styling and nail sculpting services provided in this pop-up event to people living on Skid Row will improve their lives, prepare them for other opportunities, and give sponsors an ideal chance to participate in ground-up community development efforts in their area.

I am a licensed cosmetologist and former property manager with a unique perspective on the image challenges facing the people we intend to serve during this event.  Presentation is so vitally important to everyone in our society.  I have years of experience functioning at high levels in both the for-profit and pro bono fields.
