About the event

Chester Group has teamed up with The Clarity Alliance, the UK hi-fi industry’s trade body, to present “Styl:us 2016”, a show specially created for the legion of fans of music on vinyl.

On 23rd-24th April 2016 at the Park Inn, Heathrow, music lovers will be able to feast their passion for vinyl at the UK’s only dedicated analogue music event. With new and used vinyl for sale; turntables galore; hi-fi systems; artwork displays; seminars on turntable set up; demonstrations from well-known DJs; plus live music, there will be something for everyone no matter what their relationship with vinyl.

Reacting to this revival in the purchase and enjoyment of music in its purest, analogue, form, Clarity and The Chester Group, organisers of a number of established hi-fi shows around the world, came up with the idea for a vinyl focused event. Holding it in the London area - the heart of the nation’s music industry and the city where, in the 60s, the birth and rapid rise in popular musical culture occurred – seemed the obvious location.

How can we attract new customers?

That’s the single question that is continuously voiced by our wonderfully diverse and creative industry... how can we attract new and younger customers.

Well we now have part of the answer on a ‘platter’.

Talk to various people in the industry and you do not get a defining reason why over the last couple of years there has been such a renaissance in this traditional music source: tactile, more attractive packaging, more collectable, different sound, retained value and so on.. but perhaps it’s simply down to one thing; it’s reassuringly different!

But whatever the reason the industry is now booming and along with all the other side show products and trends that support it; including turntables, headphones, valve amps, cables, retro fashion & clothing, arts and even retro engineered audio products, these are very exciting and refreshing times for us all.

So what better than a show ‘devoted’ to this tactile new medium and all that goes with it… and even more importantly returns to the venue and location made famous historically by the Audio industry, the Park Inn by Radisson @ London Heathrow.
