About us

We regularly organise events to support the learning process in leadership and communication suitable for all individuals. Our Area Contest is welcoming members and guests from Doncaster, Sheffield, York and Hull.

Toastmasters Sheffield Speakers  meet on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of every month at Showroom Workstation, Sheffield, and we follow the mission of Toastmasters to empower individuals to become more effective communicators and leaders. We organise prepared speech sessions, impromptu speaking sessions and focus on public speaking, time management, critical thinking and constructive feedback to offer our members growth. Our aim is to contribute within the community, helping people to gain valuable skills including event management skills and networking that make a massive difference for them in their personal and professional life. 

Andra Popovici

As an Area Director, I coordinate the 5 Toastmers clubs from York, Doncaster, Sheffield, Hull, regularly organising and managing meetings, delegating people to organise club meetings.

I help members set goals to grow their communication and leadership skills, assist with education awards. and plan area speech contests.
