Stories over Seasons a Holiday Pop Up,

Boston, Massachusetts, United States Boston, Massachusetts, United States

  • About the event

This holiday season Nineteenth Amendment is creating a space for shoppers to discover, connect, and shop from the next generation of great designer stories in an experiential pop-up shop.

Over seven days between December 4th to December 10th, Nineteenth Amendment will curate the best up-and-coming designer talent in a unique showrooming experience. Shoppers can come see collections, pre-order their favorites, meet the designers, and learn more about the inspiration and process behind the designs.

Throughout the week, Nineteenth Amendment will host over 14 guest speaker panels, special events, and exclusive and engaging activations to a style forward audience of shoppers, press, influencers, and media.

    Why should you sponsor?

220 Newbury Street is a street-level venue located in the heart of Back Bay. The area’s annual retail sales total over $1.8 billion. Newbury Street is one of the most expensive neighborhoods in Boston hosting the finest retail stores and restaurants. It consists of luxury and global brands. 220 Newbury Street is located in the middle of Boston’s premiere shopping destination and boasts three street facing bay windows and 1,101 sq ft.

Its educated population largely accounts for Boston’s relatively low unemployment rate and high income levels, which compare very favorably to other major U.S. markets. As a matter of fact, median household incomes in Boston are roughly 39% above national levels and attract a plethora of retailers looking to serve the needs of this affluent market. With over $88 billion in retail sales in the Boston-Cambridge-Quincy Metropolitan Statistical Area in 2015* Newbury Street is Boston’s premier shopping street that attracts international shoppers and is home to brands such as Chanel, Burberry, Marc Jacobs, DVF, and Valentino.

Nineteenth Amendment will have a dual pronged strategy to highlight the event and draw attendees over the seven days. Local channels of millennial publishers such as Brit + Co, Refinery 29, and BuzzFeed will compliment local event-focused coverage by Boston channels.

Additionally, Boston area bloggers and influencers will be invited to visit the showroom throughout the week.

Concept facilitates best-in-class content opportunities in video, photography, and storytelling across multiple platforms throughout entire week. Your sponsorship would include placement in:

    • Facebook / Facebook Live
    • Instagram / Instagram Stories
    • Email Collateral
    • Press outreach and coverage
    • Sponsorship note on all event pages

Outreach would commence with press release and  physical invite for press and influencers.

    AMANDA CURTIS

Fashion + tech = my world. I grew up in the fashion industry and graduated from Boston University & Parsons School of Design. As a fashion designer I went from New York Fashion week designing for Richie Rich, DVF, and A-list celebrities to bringing a solo designed collection all the way at London Fashion Week in my first season. From the trenches I realized that the fashion business model desperately needed a redesign so I decided to learn from tech startups about what they were doing right. Seven years ago I entered into the tech startup world in the retail marketing space & learned first hand the efficiency and potential of the space. Nineteenth Amendment is the result of the collision of my two worlds; a platform & business model that gives designers a smart way break into the fashion industry with the least amount of time, effort, and money (what I call #StilettoStrapping), while growing domestic manufacturing and bringing amazing, undiscovered fashion from the runway to closets of fashion lovers through a new type of retailing we refer to as 'fashion-as-experience'. My mission, starting in fashion, is to make the way products come to market, are made, and are sold, better for everyone: from designers and shoppers, to manufacturers and retailers.

    I'm Forbes’ 30 Under 30 2016 for Retail & E-commerce, Apparel Magazine's 30 Under 30 2016, I am a mentor at TechStars, a mentor with AOL's Built by Girls and I'm just getting started.
