Step to Strive "Walk to Houston",

About the event

I am proud to announce the birth of the first event held by Step to Strive!

Step to Strive is a soon-to-be, non-profit organization, created solely to bless the lives of people from around the world. Saving lives, feeding all who bleed red, saving animals, helping victims, addicts, homeless, elderly care, and bluntly, this list could go forever. We have brothers and sisters out there in the world right now genuinely praying for a miracle just to be able to live. Come on, is that a way to live? I pray for those people out there, and I want to help them.

Every year, I plan to choose different organizations. This year, the first event, Walk to Houston, is benefiting The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center and the Memphis Union Mission! On July 1, 2014, Shelbi Ashpole and myself are walking to Houston, Tx from Covington, Tn, and back to help save the lives of people dying with cancer. The walk there, 640 miles, will benefit The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. The walk back will benefit the Memphis Union Mission, a Christ-centered, non-profit organization that ministers men, women, and children into a better life through Jesus Christ. The event starts at 6pm at the Covington Courthouse in Covington, Tn, located in the middle of the Covington Square. The first steps at taken at 7pm.

Due to time into the 501c paperwork, it is difficult to find sponsors. The proposal to The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center was accepted on May 8, 2014. We start walking July 1st. God has opened the door of starting Step to Strive, very quickly! And I believe if we all come together, we could help so many causes, it's not even funny!

I have a sponsorship plan for all organizations, companies, causes, and whomever. You choose whatever you would like to sponsor, whether its product, money, etc. Whatever you choose, your company name/logo will be printed on our uniforms worn during the walk. If you decide to send monetary contributions, the cost is $1 dollar. Yes, for one dollar, I will print your company/logo on the uniforms.

For this event, Step to Strive is dedicating the uniforms worn to all of those who lost the battle with cancer. Even if you deny sponsorship, please feel free to email me any of your loved ones name for the uniform memorial.
