State Of The Art Gathering (STAG)

STAG is a THREE STEPS event (Mach 30^th – Apily 10^th, 2016) It is an Annual gathering established to artistes, upcoming artists, management, record label executives, promoters, corporate brand managers, stakeholders invited fans and promotion of the African/Irish music culture.  Its focus is the integration of African and Irish artists in the Entertainment Industry of Ireland. STAG will include discussions on integration in the entertainment industry, creativity, motivational talks by relevant speakers on challenges/difficulties faced by upcoming artists and possible solutions, networking, collaboration and workshops.

STEP 1: Industry Day, Ireland

An opportunity for Artists, Management, Producers and Record labels from Africa and Ireland to Network and Scout for new orangic talents. It is an interactive forum for upcoming Artists to meet with established Artists,  Producers, Record Labels, Studio Management, Voice Coaches and Song Writers. We will be discussing the challenges and difficulties faced by upcoming Artists today and possible solutions will be inroduced.  It will showcase all the platforms and their supports that are avalable for artist in Ireland. Windows for African and Irish Aritsts collaborations in the Music Industrywill be put in place. It will also include motivational talks by great Speakers and a progress report on Aftercare support services for upcoming artist.

STEP 2: Studio Workshop

We will be hosting an In-Studio Workshops.  The workshop will be a musical production collaboration between artists and producers from Africa and Ireland. The writers with their chosen vocalists will meet up with producers who will guide them through creating a unique sound which will infuse instruments like – the irish harp, fiddle, ceolos, African jembe, flute, marakes. At the end of the workshop a single will be produced which will be showcased and performed by Artists of both regions.  The Songs created during the workshop will be put on iTunes for download, to help raise funds for up coming artists.

Step 3: Showcase

We will be presenting a showcase of the music that have been produced form step 2. The  event will entail Guest Speakers, invited Artists from ireland and Africa. Some live stage performance. Interviews and much more.
