[Start with an introduction to your cause or goal by using stories and facts to connect with the recipient emotionally.] Prostate cancer is the second most common cancer in men in the US. 1 in 7 men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer in their lifetime 1 in 36 men will die from prostate cancer (about 29,480 men) accounting for about 22% of all male deaths from cancer. Bellingham Nightlife has teamed up with the Movember Foundaiton to raise awareness and funds. We are hosting a “No shave Movember” Beard and Mustache Competition on Thursday, November 5^th and 100% of the profits will be donated to the Movember Men’s Health Cancer Research Foundation. We are seeking donations and or sponsorship to help raise funds for this charitable event. Anything you can donate to help make our event a success will be greatly appreciated. We have four tiers to our sponsorships (see below). All donations are tax deductible to the extend permitted by law. The Movember Foundation is a national non-profit 501 (c) (3) organization.  

Tier 1: Main Sponsorship

$100 Sponsorship

Helps with:

Flyers, posters, newspaper advertising costs. Logo on promotional items

What you get:

Logo placed on 1000+ flyers, posters and choice of hanging your business’s banner at the event, noted mentioning of sponsorship in any publicly related articles, posts, and/or media pre-and-post event

Tier 2: Partner Sponsorship

$50

Helps with:

Cost of advertising

What you get:

Logo placed on 1000+ flyers, posters and choice of hanging your business’s banner at the event

Tier 3:

Helps with:

Event costs such as prizes for the competition including trophy and promotional items

We are also hosting a silent auction the night of the function. Donating products, goods, or services from your business is a great alternative to contributing to the fundraiser.
