Startex Conference,

About the event

Starting in 2006, Startex Conference currently has a running history of 8 years. It is a 6D4N camp during the Semester 2 Break that will see the involvement of around 300 participants in total. Startex aims to usher in the new batch of freshmen for every academic year by forging bonds and friendships through the various games and activities planned, making their transition to university life a more interesting and fun-filled one.  

Startex will include a variety of games and activities which serve to bond the freshmen together. These games will be planned to induce a sense of cohesion, cooperation and understanding between the freshmen, thereby encouraging the formation of strong friendships and camaraderie.  

Startex thus aims to create an exciting and unforgettable camp experience for both freshmen and seniors alike, while simultaneously providing a platform for the freshmen to find out more about the various academic and non-academic programmes that Startex has to offer during their undergraduate years. The Startex Organizing Main Committee (OMC) believes in making the transition and the start of university life a fun-filled and memorable one for the participating freshmen, as well as allowing Startex seniors to step up and take on a role in leading and guiding the Freshmen along, so as to forge an inclusive culture that is the unique Startex Family Spirit.
