About the event

We are recruiting arounf 50 people to join the challenge to fundraise for GVI Trust by completing around 22Km Stand Up Paddle Board Challenge in London.

Stand Up for a Worthy Cause! The GVI Trust runs over 75 projects globally, working with communities to tackle global issues at home. All projects are set to tackle issues outlined under the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and have a sustainability strategy for beyond 2030.

Tyrone Bennett

I am the CEO/ Executive Director of GVI Trust. Passionate about Education I worked in the UK HE Sector for 10 years before moving into a consultant role where I setup the first Youth Council in Islington, Implemented a youth engagement strategy for the NHS sexual health and run multiple youth campaigns around smoking and drinking. 

I volunteered with an international volunteering company in 2007 and found my passion for thrid sector and then went on to Join a volunteer organisation for 6 years in the role as Director of Alumni Services. In December 2018 I was given the opportunity to take over GVI Trust to develop the chairty and the amazing work we do. I am delighted to be in this role and look forward to working with an elite select few partners to ensure we make the future of this earth safe and fair for generatons to come.
