About the event
I have secured a charity place in the 2016 Virgin London Marathon, my chosen charity, Lattitude Global Volunteering, requires me to raise sponsorship in return for this opportunity. This is a fantastic charity that offers school and university leavers the opportunity to work in third world communities, assisting in schools, hospitals or on conservation projects.
I am organising a St. Patricks day event on 18th March to celebrate all things Irish! There will be dancing, music, singing, food, a quiz, fancy dress and lots of fun!
I am hoping to attract about 80 - 100 guests.
This even is being organised in conjunction with my two fellow friends and runners, also running for the same charity.
We are all mums, new to running and are terrified by the prospect of 26.2 miles. Please sponser us!!!
