St. Jude's Dance Marathon,

About the event

To Whom It May Concern:

We are currently seniors at George H.W. Bush New Tech Odessa high school, where our school implements project based instruction. Seniors partake in a year long project, in which we use the skills that we have accumulated throughout our high school career, this is known as our Capstone project. This is the final project we complete in order to fulfill our high school experience. My peers and I chose St. Jude’s organization, because we felt we could make a positive impact in our community by utilizing our skills to produce something that would help St. Jude. We want to initiate a project that is fun and uplifting and decided to do a dance marathon fundraiser to raise money to help St. Jude. Nevertheless, La Caliente Radio 101.3 will give us their 100% support in anything we need and they will lead us on how to create an event from scratch. A dance-a-thon is basically an event where there is music, games, jumpers, and auctions for both children and adults. The entire community will be invited via media and we will promote it so the whole community can partake. The admission tickets will be $5 with the addition of the money from the auction, which will all go to St. Jude's. We are looking forward to event taking place on April 21st of 2017 at the Far West Event Center.

Why should you sponsor?

We are trying to give these kids at St. Jude's a second chance, and with more money for thier treatment they have a better way of getting where they want to be.

My name is Ezequiel Montoya and I am currently a senior at George H. W. Bush New Tech Odessa high school located in Odessa Texas. We are doing a senior capstone project which is where we give back to our community.
