About the event

Our event is to raise much needed funds for our elementary school that is located in the heart of the west island. We are a multi-cultural school with approximately 230 students. The funds we raise at this event will go towards purchasing much needed materials and or upgrading to meet the technology of today. Our library is also very outdated so we would like to raise it to the level of todays society.Ipads, computers, new books! We would also like to hopefully one day purchase a rock climbing wall for our physical education class.  This event is being organized by the home and school members that are on a volunteer basis consisting of very caring mothers! We have vendors selling crafts, used items, and new items such as; handbags, hand made cards, candles, cosmetics etc. There will be something for everyone! We are also looking for any FOOD or DRINK donations as we will be selling food and drink at the Home and School Table. There will be a BBQ as well!  Target market for our event is families, young and old ! There will be an inflatable game for children to play while parents shop! There is also a playground where children can play as well.  We are still looking for a radio station to either sponsor our event or attend it to give us more exposure so we are on the map for next year! We want this to be our biggest event for the year!

Why should you sponsor?

Sponsors should support our event because english schools are constantly getting their budget cuts for extra activities/materials for the school. If it wasn't for our Home and School Assocoation , our children would not get to go on any extra curricualr activites as we have many families below the poverty line. We are also outdated, so we need to upgrade our school to meet with the technology of today.

This is a not for profit organization so all of the money we raise will go directly to the school. Your money will also help us buy any food we need to do the BBQ if we do not get many food or drink donations. In addition to helping us, we will advertise as much as we can on social media, flyers, tv, etc. The west island community is also very big in supporting sponsors when they help soneone in need. Everyone will know and we will encourage them to go buy at your company/retaurant etc.

My name is Jessica and I am part of the Parent's Committee. We are in dire need of funds to make this a success!  At this point anything helps! We also need food or drink donations. Where does your money go? It will go to buy materials that our children need to get the most of their learning in elementary. Ipads for our school. Updating the library. Our library is still the original . No upgrades have been made. 

We also run a breakfast club for children who are underprivileged. Those who qualify, receive a free breakfast every morning. Help us help our school!
