About the event
Following a successful launch of 'Kingston Question Time' on 14th April 2015, which saw Former Energy and Climate Change Secretary, Edward Davey, join James Berry MP, Lee Godfrey and others going head to head on our first panel, we are now looking ahead to the Mayoral Elections in 2016.
Our last event was attended by 400 (the capacity of our last venue), and with your support, we could hire out and reach a fantastic number of 900 attendees in the glamorous, modern Rose Theatre in Kingston Town Centre.
We already have a number of the potential London Mayoral Candidates on board, who have confirmed they will be happy to attend if selected. These include former MP and television presenter George Galloway, Conservative Ivan Massow, Labour's Diane Abbott MP, Gareth Thomas MP and Christian Wolmar, Former Principal Speaker of the Green Party Sian Berry and more. We will reach out to all mayoral candidates (we are neutral and apolitical) to attend.
With your support, we will be able to raise enough funds to hire the Rose Theatre, and run a leafleting campaign throughout Merton and Kingston.
Any profits will be donated to Kingston's local charity, Love Kingston. Please lend your support to our non-profit, apolitical 'Question Time' event, which will provide a thought-provoking and engaging evening to all who attend.
