About the event
On August 30th 2015 the 'Sounds in the City' are organising a family music festival in aid of Children's Hospices South West (CHSW). Proceeds will be given to the state of the art complex in St Austell, Little Harbour.
The event will be held on Boscowan Park in Malpas, Truro with an expected crowd of at least 10000 people to the free event. There are 3 stages, 24 acts, 2 dance tents, huge family entertainment area, food and beer tents amongst craft stalls and much more.
About Little Harbour - Little Harbour opened its doors to its first families in December 2011 and is most conveniently situated for families who live in Cornwall, Plymouth and parts of South Devon. At Little Harbour, families will discover individual children's bedrooms, accomodation for parents and siblings, a wide range of play and therapy facilities including a messy play area, a Jacuzzi and a multi-sensory room and a homely family kitchen and living room.
Little Harbour CHSW builds precious memories for families whose children are living with life limiting or life threatening conditions. The care and expertise provided by CHSW is so valuable to all members of the family. For CHSW to keep providing precious memories it needs support from various fund raising events. Sounds in the City had no hesitation in supporting this great charity.
