About the event

We are representatives of 4SIGHT (charity number: 1075447).  4SIGHT are a registered charity and membership organisation supporting the blind and partially sighted in West Sussex.  4SIGHT provide services to improve health and wellbeing, promote independence and prevent social isolation.  4SIGHT provide information, advice and practical support to the blind and visually impaired and carers, families and other organisations.

The work of 4SIGHT is largely self-funded.  4SIGHT need to raise £500,000 to meet the cost of supporting members, and nearly all of this money has to be raised through grants, fundraising events, sponsorship, legacies and donations. 

As representatives of 4SIGHT we are hosting an event Sound 4SIGHT.  Sound 4SIGHT is a musical talent showcase taking place on Sunday 22 May 2016 in Priory Park, Chichester.  As representatives of 4SIGHT we aim to raise awareness of the charity and build strong working relationships with other companies around the local area.  We hope to raise £10,000 and attract 3,000 people to attend.  Sound 4SIGHT is a family fun day.  On the day of the event there will be a number of local performers and performances from schools in West Sussex.  There will be stalls for companies to promote their work within their local community.  There will be activities for children to participate in.
