About the event

The Snowflake Ball is a ball (dance) for young children with special needs and  a special guest of their choice. The aim of this event is to provide the children and families with a relaxing and fun evening out where they get to spend time together, eat delicious food, and participate in exciting activities without having to worry about anything. The goal is to help the children and families see how appreciated and loved they are for everything they do and go through in their daily lives.

Why should you sponsor?

The Snowflake Ball would be greatly benefitted by sponsors because the goal is to have the event be free of charge or minimal cost for guests. Having partnerships with companies would be helpful in terms of obtaining a location, food, materials for activities, or money for all the aspects of the event without having to charge guests. This event is, in a way, an evening of appreciation for the children and their families, and it would be wonderful if they could enjoy this free of charge. 

Ishika Shah

Hi there! My name is Ishika Shah and I am a grade 10 student at The Woodlands Secondary School. I am planning this event as a school project, but more so as something I've been interested in doing for a while and am hoping to finally carry out. I volunteer with children in the community (at children's camps, karate classes, etc.), and have worked with young children with special needs and aided them in learning karate as well as motor and communication skills. I believe that these children do not lead simple lives and deserve every opportunity they can get to make good memories and have unique and fun experiences to remember when times get tough. I would really appreciate a partnership with you and your company as it would be a great help in making the Snowflake Ball a successful and fun event for the children and their families.
