Smoothie workshop for the elderly,

About the event

We are aiming to helop with the loneyness problem among the elderly by organizing indoor smoothie workshops. So far we have done need assessment in 5 nursing homes in Rotterdam and got the eldrly interested in our project.The idea is doing grocery for the elderly and bring it to the nursing home. Vounteers and elderly then will be able to make smoothies together based on their own preference. During the time, elderly will have chance to communicate with the volunteers and among themselves.We believe this will help feel more involved in a group.
