Why should you sponsor?
As a free, Not-For-Profit event, we rely for the most part on your sponsorship to make this event happen. We are therefore keen to form true partnerships and work with you, to understand how we can create something that is mutually beneficially to both parties as well as for those attending. So we have laid out just a few of the features that are available for you to sponsor. But these should be viewed as just the core building blocks of our event. There is also the opportunity to curate or produce your own original entertainment content within our festival which can also help extend your association with us - whether this is through us co-creating content before, during or after the event.
Our experience shows us that by working with to create something multi-sensory and with a real “ Smoke and Fire Festival feel” these can make an event stand out and can become even a central key attraction in themselves, with visitors returning numerous times which in turn can help to produce thousands of pieces of social content which will both directly and indirectly benefit your brand and our festival and the experience of those attending …..Thank you.
I have always wanted to develop an event that combines food and Fire and Smoke in all their guises: in 2015 I put together a pilot two-day event called The Great Wild Food and Chilli Fair' aimed at celebrating nature’s larder and its abundance of offerings and edible treats. But the primary purpose was I could try out some of my ideas, some worked, and some failed. But ultimately the event was a success in fact with little or no sponsorship we managed to get write ups in Waitrose Magazine, interviews on the BBC and came second in the Best New UK Chilli Festival awards. But don’t take my word for it, here are a few informative.
For this event, we have partnered with Maldon District Council and the Tourist Board who bring with them all the benefits of being able to promote this event throughout Essex and beyond.
I do hope that this has sparked some interest in our event and look forward to discussing with you how we can make it work for you and our visitors year on year.
