About the event
The event is an unofficial showcase concert / all day festival run by indie record label, vinyl distributor, and manufacturing brand Smartpunk. This year during SXSW in Austin, TX, Smartpunk is organizing a live music showcase event accompanied by a skate ramp for skateboarding, BMX, and other action sports athletes to enjoy. Our goal is to make this a laid-back event with a DIY festival feel, providing a space for SXSW attendees to relax, have a drink, and skate or hang out with Pro athletes and musicians in a casual atmosphere.
We are seeking brand partners and sponsorships for this event and I would love to touch base with you on a quick call to discuss the opportunities we can provide. We have a variety of flexible sponsorship options available at various tiers, whether you are interested in being a Presenting partner, Stage sponsor, VIP sponsor, or simply activate at our event.
Why should you sponsor?
The Smartpunk SXSW showcase - although unofficial to the SXSW event, will take place in the heart of Austin right on the main strip! Attendees will be able to attend this showcase for FREE -- meaning we expect a great deal of foot traffic coming and going all day. Smartpunk is a record label and vinyl distributor who also licenses with major record labels on exclusive vinyl re-issues. Within the showcase venue, we will have a pop-up vinyl shop with Smartpunk exclusives from bands such as Fall Out Boy, Less Than Jake, NoFX and more.
In addition to the all-day concert event, this showcase will feature a skate ramp outside the venue and we will be inviting pro athletes and brands to attend as an added "wow" moment to this event.
This event is intended to be a highly-trafficked "break" from the madness of SXSW, a safe space for attendees to relax, skate, or mosh.
