About the event
We are a non-profit organization committed to promoting skin cancer awareness. What does this mean you ask? As the leading cause of cancer in the world, we want to promote the importance of skin cancer prevention. This means being aware of the hazards of prolonged sun exposure, and knowing the importance of proper sun protection. All net proceeds will be donated to The Skin Cancer Foundation. Check them out in the menu above. Our ultimate goal is to bring our cause and walk/run to major cities throughout the U.S.!

Come be a part of our 2nd annual event! Our cause: to promote the importance of skin cancer prevention! Last year we had nearly 140 participants and donated over $2100 to the Skin Cancer Foundation! Rosemarie MessingerMorgan, the founder, is just starting his residency program in dermatology and had the desire to give back to the community through starting this awareness run. His fiance Rosemarie is a nurse. They are both working hard to make this event successful in order to continue each year. As they both have had previous experience of family members with skin cancer, it is their passion to bring added knowledge about the dangers of skin cancer to everyone they can!
