About the event
Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. was founded in 1922 as an educational service organization for women at Butler University. It's goal was to guide educated women in excellence and service to their communities.
Today, the group's 90,000 members actively serve their local communities in chapters across the United States, Canada and several other foreign countries. The Midwest Region consists of 13 states and four countries. More than 1200 members are expected in St. Louis.
Opportunities for local, national and regional sponsorship are found among the group's major Community Projects involving college scholarships; March of Dimes Health Fairs and Baby Showers; African-American Arts, Cultural and Humanities events; local and regional public service groups , the American Red Cross, and the Salvation Army. Members work regularly with local mothers, homeless families, children, teens and young adults.
A myriad of sponsorships activities available include souvenir ads, logo display, public meeting sponsors, cost of undergraduate luncheon, cost of entertainment, cost of board dinner, hospitality suite, teen pageant and an awards banquet.
Lastly, sponsors are also invited to provide product donations geared toward women, children, teens and college undergraduates. Any donation is greatly appreciated and will be included in all local and national publicity.
