About the event

My name is Jensohai Reyes, and am planning to produce a short film with a group of volunteers whom are all teens ages 16-20. This film will be made with professional cameras, equipment, and software. I am currently 17 and have worked with tv channels before and have experience in filming,editing, and video effects. My crew consists of a director, co-producer,screenwriter,make-up artist, visual effect artist, sound effect Artist, and volunteer actors (all amateur). Due to our age, we are brought down easily, but we would all like to begin our career in the filming industry here. Our film afterwards will apply to the short film festival where we will hopefully win first place, then proceed to taking this film to companies such as Netflix. The sponsor will have their name in the beginning and end of the film and will also appear in the movie. All names provided from the sponsor will appear including the company. The film genre is an action/comedy which will star great actors such as the 2015 August Wilson 2nd place winner: Cameron Sutherland, and dramarama best actor award winner: Javier Suriano. The need for the sponsorship is due to expenses in some software such as action vfx essentials, audio equipment, and harnesses. We will have a filming permit and will be filming mostly in Lilburn.We will rent a studio for some scenes. Our equipment consists of a Canon 70d(HD & 21.3 mp), a GoPro Hero (HD & Waterproof), a Blackmagic Production Camera (4K Resolution), and a GoPro Hero 2 (HD). Other equipment: Crane, small lighting, backdrop, and tripods.
