The University of Manchester Shodokan Aikido Club will be hosting the 2016 Student Nationals on the 19th and 20th March. We are expecting around 50 competitors from 8 universities across the United Kingdom, with further spectators.
Our competitors will be aged between 18 and 24 and will all be studying at university or the first year after graduating.
The Universities already confirmed to be competing are: University of Manchester, Sheffield Hallam University, University of Sheffield, University of Leeds, University of Edinburgh, University of Nottingham.
The finals will be recorded and uploaded to youtube. Previous winners have gone on to compete and medal in both national and international competitions.
