A somatic dance release rave rooted in African and Afro inspired healing traditions, fused with contemporary Nairobi club culture. Three intentional phases: Sound Circle (arrival), Peak Release (climax), Come Down Set (integration). 300 guests. Ages 20-35+. Safe, high-energy, healing.

Corinne Kahi

Corinne Kahi is a Nairobi-based DJ, MC, event host, and cultural curator. Her DJ alias is Coco Kahi, she’s spent years in Nairobi’s entertainment and club scene, building a reputation as a sound architect who integrates healing into club culture.

Beyond the booth, Coco is a wellness advocate committed to creating safe, intentional spaces where movement and music become tools for somatic release and collective healing. She understands that the dancefloor can be therapeutic, that release is medicine, and that Nairobi’s creative community needs outlets where they can show up authentically.

Shake It Off is the culmination of that vision: a somatic dance release rave that merges African and Afro inspired healing traditions with contemporary club culture. It’s where her DJ craft, MC presence, event curation, and wellness philosophy converge.

Coco is co-hosting Shake It Off with Dj, producer , actor and wellness enthusiast Brian Nyachae (T.V.I), bringing together a lineup of four intentional DJs and a night designed for full-arc somatic release
