Second Annual Spring Soirée and Silent Auction,

Richmond, Virginia, United States Richmond, Virginia, United States

  • About the event

On Friday, April 24th we will be hosting our second annual Spring Soiree and Silent Auction and we would love for you to be a part of it! All proceeds from the event will benefit Glen Allen Community Montessori and our mission to bring social justice to the educational options in the Richmond community by providing all families with the gift of an affordable Montessori education. Our event is expected to draw 200+ supporters and participating businesses.

Attendees will enjoy great food and drinks, a photo booth, and more. Not to mention the chance to bid on awesome items in our Silent Auction. We want to support and celebrate local businesses by showcasing their items in our Online and Silent auctions. We would love to have your company represented with a donation that can be auctioned off on the day of the event. We are also looking for local businesses to provide discounts and coupons that can be given to attendees by way of our program booklet!

We also have limited sponsorship opportunities if you want to help GACM in a BIG way. We will be advertising our event on local and social media, as well as thanking our supporters which we hope to include you in that praise. Depending on your chosen level of sponsorship, you could also have an ad in our event program and receive complimentary tickets!

Glen Allen Community Montessori School is a 501(c)3 organization and was born from a desire to bring affordable educational options to the larger Richmond community. As parents, we felt there wasn’t an answer for wanting to gift our children with the beauty of the Montessori curriculum without sacrificing so much of our livelihoods to do so. Our mission is to provide a learning environment that adheres to Montessori principles, to guide and nurture each individual child in becoming lifelong learners and citizens of our diverse world community through the cooperative efforts of the parent community.

Thank you for your consideration and time. We look forward to partnering with you to provide Montessori for all!

    Why should you sponsor?

By sponsoring this event you will be putting resources and materials right into the hands of children, and aid in their early development to become positive influences in our larger world community and instilling a life long love of learning!

    Brei Stevenson

I founded this non-profit because I was a parent who knew that a Montessori approach to my daughters early development would set her up for life long success, both academically and as a human being who will one day contribute to our society. But I didn't possess the six-figure income or social status to enroll her into the schools in my community. I was able to provide the gift of Montessori to my daughter through tireless volunteering to offset the cost, losing valuable time with my family.

That just didn't sit right with me. No parent should feel defeated when finding the necessary care and education that best fit their family. So GACM was born to be that voice and space for all families. After serving on the Board of Directors, I stepped into the Executive Director role so that I could continue to make strides with our families and really connect with people and my community.

I get to witness everyday how just a few dollars can make ripples in a pond of good. Sponsoring this event means giving a family a CHOICE in the education for their children and making a lifelong impact.
