About the event
Sealed With A Kiss was voted best open mic show for Poetry in Creative Loafing's Best of the Bay Reader's Choice in 2015. This show pushes boundaries by combining poetry, music, and comedy in an open mic setting. The show is hosted by Tampa poet and host, Poetic Kiss. She not only is the creator and host for SWAK, but she also co-host shows like Poetry Is, a radio show on Saturdays on 88.5 FM on WMNF, Rhythm N Hues show which is an Arts entertainment show that airs on TBAE network, and Poetry N Punchlines, which is Poetry and Comedy show that is presented quarterly at the Tampa Improv. Kiss is versed in hosting all type of events and has a supportive following. Her love for live music compelled her to do a new variation of the show.
Sealed With A Kiss presents… BAND BATTLE is an interactive band competition that allows various bands to display their talents and versatility to an encouraging and music loving audience. Up to four bands compete for the pot, which consist of everyone's entry fee as well as each band also receiving complete audio recording of their set and some video footage for their own personal use. The show will then be condensed into a TV show style video to be shared on various social media avenues.
There will be 3 judges that will score the bands on their technique. But the audience will also have a say in who is the ultimate winner of the battle for the prize. It's even possible that one of the judges could even be a representative of a sponsor.
All of this taking place at a nice venue in front of a supportive music loving audience. It will definitely be a night to remember!Why should you sponsor?

The food sponsor will be able to sell food to patrons at the show. The Sealed With A Kiss following consist of young and sophisticated professional who are supportive and come out to make the even a night encompassed with entertainment, food, and enlightenment. They come prepared to eat and enjoy themselves. The food vendor will have access to a kitchen that has an industrial refrigerator, commercial food warmer, and industrial sinks. In addition to being able to sell food at the event, the sponsor's logo will be displayed on the flyer which will be shared digitally and physically. The food sponsor will also be promoted on all advertisements from April 21st until the day of the show, this includes social media, websites, and any recorded advertisements, so our crowd will be prepared to come out and have dinner and a show at the event.
