About the event
Scenic Rhythms and friends is a showcase that is about giving back to the artists. It will feature talented emcee's and beat makers during the showcase on March 18th. Scenic Rhythms way of giving back would be to give the artists who are featured in the showcase a form of payment for their time. A lot of venues during SXSW are pay to play and that's not what Scenic Rhythms is about. We want to make sure that the artists leave with something in their pockets at the end of the night. We launched a cassette tape to help raise money for it. It has all the artists that will be in our lineup this year.
We have a venue locked in place, but need financial sponsorship to secure the event space.
