About the event
This is a banquet honor an educator and mentor of more than 45 years of service. He has been directly responsible for turning many hopeless lives into positive stories. He has been directly responsible for many young inner city kids obtaining the dream of becoming college graduates. He has been directly responsible for turning the lives around for so many poverty stricken and troubled teens. How did he do this? He did it through faith. He did it through education and most of all, he did it through music.
So many times, we choose to wait until a person has passed on from this life to express to them just how much they've meant to us. We choose to wait until they're no longer with us to tell them just how much of a positive impact they've had on our lives. Well, the JFK Alumni Band will no longer wait. We will choose to tell our educators, mentors and community leaders about the impact they have had on our lives while they can truly appreciate it.
