About the event

We are non-governmental organisation devoted for the social cause of “Rural Development”. We support drought and rural areas for projects relating to afforestation and water conservation; child health, education and career counseling; women empowerment; generating rural employment. To support these cause we are organizing this“SBS Corporate Cricket Tournament” for charity.

We support drought and rural areas for projects relating to afforestation and water conservation; child health, education and career counseling; women empowerment; generating rural employment. To support these cause we are organizing this“T10 Corporate Cricket Tournament” for charity.

SBS sports (a unit of Samruddha Bharat Sangh) is working towards promoting sports in Rural Areas. Last we have orgainized Local Interschool Sports like Kabbadi and Kho-Kho for the ZP(Zilla Parishad School i.e State government School) in Sangli District. We are going to extent this event to other District in Maharashtra state like Satara, Sangli, Kolhapur, Raigad, Ratnagiri and Sindhudurg. Going forward we intend to promote the sport of Volley Ball and Football at this Level of School.The Funds collected through this event would also be used in acheiving below objectives of Sammruddha Bharat Sangh.

- Rural Development by eradicating poverty and malnutrition, promoting preventive healthcare and sanitation and making available safe drinking water;

- Promoting education and employment enhancing vocation skills especially among children, women, elderly, and the differently able and livelihood enhancement projects;

- Promoting gender equality, empowering women, setting up homes and hostels for women and orphans; setting up old age homes, day care centers and such other facilities for senior citizens and measures for reducing inequalities faced by socially and economically backward groups;

- Ensuring environmental sustainability, ecological balance,
animal welfare, conservation of natural resource and maintaining quality of soil, air and water;

- protection of national heritage, art and culture including works of arts; setting up public libraries; promotion and development of traditional arts and handicrafts;

- Training and promotion of rural sports, nationally recognized sports, pralympic sports and olympic sports;

- Relief and welfare of the scheduled castes, the scheduled tribes, other backward classes, minorities and women empowerment;

- Promoting Technology for Social Benefit

Samruddha Bharat Sangh is non-government organisation devoted for the social cause of “Rural Development”.  SBS supports drought and rural areas for developing model villages, water conservation; afforestation, child health, education and career counseling; women empowerment; creating opportunities for rural employment.

 

Members of Samruddha Bharat undertake to perform following Fundamental Duties as per Article 51A of The Constitution of India 1949:

51A. Fundamental duties It shall be the duty of every citizen of India 
(a) to abide by the Constitution and respect its ideals and institutions, the national Flag and the National Anthem;(b) to cherish and follow the noble ideals which inspired our national struggle for freedom;
(c) to uphold and protect the sovereignty, unity and integrity of India;
(d) to defend the country and render national service when called upon to do so;
(e) to promote harmony and the spirit of common brotherhood amongst all the people of India transcending religious, linguistic and regional or sectional diversities; to renounce practices derogatory to the dignity of women;
(f) to value and preserve the rich heritage of our composite culture;
(g) to protect and improve the natural environment including forests, lakes, rivers and wild life, and to have compassion for living creatures;
(h) to develop the scientific temper, humanism and the spirit of inquiry and reform;
(i) to safeguard public property and to abjure violence;
(j) to strive towards excellence in all spheres of individual and collective activity so that the nation constantly rises to higher levels of endeavour and achievement
