SABOR LATINO Latin America Gastronomic Festival,

About the event

Latin America is a great destination for all travelers around the Globe and Konstanz can be the perfect location for the best food festival, since it will be organized in Germany, close to Switzerland and Austria.  Konstanz is also known as the Gateway to Lake Constance. Both, lake and City are a big tourist attraction. 

The Event will start on Juli 22th and 23rd, 2017 with a Food Festival introducing the gastronomic offer from almost all Latin American and Caribbean Countries, presenting also their tourist atttractions through their Tourist Boards. Among others, the visitors will have the chance to participate in cooking shows, music and dance, salsa learning, piñatas for children and many other activities.

Then, in five following days, we will present the gastronomy of five selected countries showing their best tourist attractions, cooking show with a priced and renowned cook, targeted events and ending at the evening with a Gala Dinner with a spectacular show: Monday (Argentina), Tuesday (Mexico), Wednesday (Brazil), Thursday (The Caribbean), Friday (Peru).

The social chapter of the Food Festival will be aimed to support children and pregnant women with nutritional difficulties. 

Why should you sponsor?

The so-called Bodensee-Region is shared by four countries (Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Lichtenstein) with an area of influence of more than 4 million persons. The idea is to invert in marketing in the region, announcing the festival in (almost) all Newspapers and Magazines, which will give the sponsor an ample view of presentation for their products. July is a month with big tourist movement in the city of Konstanz and the Sponsor´s Logo will be visible all over the city and neighboring cities. Last but not least, the sponsor will figure as main benefactor of the social project in Latin America.

Javier Cordero

My name is Javier Cordero, born in Bolivia in 1958, medical doctor as profession and since 2003 in Germany. Actually I live in Konstanz, south Germany, close to the border with Switzerland where I work as gynecologist in a swiss hospital half time. The other half time I share with my wife the management of a small travel DMC and MICE company specialized in latino travel destinations (Latin America, Spain, France, Portugal and Italy) for the german speaking travel market.

Our goal as latinos is to spread the word of our fellow latinos in all manners, so we designed three Events to show the diversity we have, supporting the tourism, protecting the sustainability and helping other to improve their lives.

Next year I will be 60 and after 30+ years working as a physician, I will retire but not get in rent and see my life pass by. I want to keep working and using my imagination and qualities to develop activities that I love, around travelling and health.
