About the event

Conceptualized in 2012, Ryan Ghaziabad Model United Nations, is one of the most highly reputed, unparalleled and  awaited conferences of the year. Till date, the Ryan Ghaziabad Model United Nations Society has successfully hosted 5 exemplary conferences and is all set for its sixth edition to be held on the 25th and 26th of August 2017.

The simulation of the UN – Model United Nations or MUN is imperative not only with the desire to recognize the efforts and the success of the UN but also for students to understand international conflicts in a more fruitful fashion. It is an attempt to come face to face with the challenges that the world faces at present, an endeavour to put students into the framework of an international organization and therefore sum up plausible and possible ways and means to successfully combat challenges.

RGMUN seeks to explore new possibilities, while treasuring the past. The theme of the conference this year is "DIFFERENT HISTORIES, COMMON DESTINY". The delegates will not only live through the world's changing situations that shaped our histories but will have the authority to recreate the past in their own improved way.

RGMUN offers an exceptional opportunity for delegates to engage in an exciting discussion with high-performing delegates about subjects that gripped the world community in the past and that molded the world as it is today.
