Are you ready for a beautiful Sunday evening on July 9th at Byrd Park from 4PM-8PM filled with people of all ages, races and genders laughing, dancing, playing, relaxing, picnicing and enjoying the company of others who care about the community? Well it's that time again! It's time for RVA Community Unity Day!
Let's unite together to bring that community vibe and family feel to Byrd Park once again this year. Last year we had over 1300 people converge on Byrd Park after 3 days of planning for a day of love, learning and laughter as we embraced our community as family. This year we want to double that number to spread even more love but we need your help!
We need your monetary donations so that we can continue to provide EVERYTHING FREE to all attendees from in and around the Richmond Area. Your monetary donations will help with securing the necessary supplies to make this event beyond a success. Instead of having multiple drop off locations and times as we did last year we will just rent a U-haul to go purchase and pick up all supplies for this year's event using your donations.Why should you sponsor?
We are also looking for donations or sponsors to provide all the food supplies, craft supplies, interactive and board games, tents, ice, u-haul, game truck for the kids, sound system, generator and most importantly the PARK. Triston HarrisMy name is Triston Harris, I am a United States Coast Guard Resevist. I am apart of the leadership team for this years "RVA Community Unity", and I personally will be heading up the big adult field day portion of the event.
