About the event

Our team of three and other participants will take on the challenge of the Viking Rally and drive through 7 countries in 3 days, covering a staggering 1,000 miles, using a vehicle bought for less than £500. Our team will drive from the United Kingdom through France, Belgium, Holland, Germany, Denmark, and finally to Sweden all to raise money for the Outward Bound Trust. (http://www.rustyrally.org.uk/viking-route/).

The Outbound Trust takes groups of young people out of their comfort zone and gives them adventures they never forget. For many, this is their first experience of wilderness - of limitless stars overhead, mountains and greenery as far as the eye can see, sometimes even as simple as the sight of sheep - and dramatically it changes their perspective. And then the real adventure begins: within. Having to face new challenges in the company of peers, and experienced instructors, gives rise to new and intense emotions. Why should you sponsor?

We believe this an excellent charitable sponsorship opportunity for your company to sponsor a team of three amateurs embarking on this trip and their first large fundraising challenge.

As well as supporting a great cause, we believe this sponsorship opportunity offers your company a number of benefits including brand advertisement and recognition supporting a charitable event from your logo being visible for over 1,000 miles from the United Kingdom through France, Belgium, Holland, Germany, Denmark, and Sweden. We will also post regular updates to our social media pages. It is an also an opportunity arm us with your sample products, flyers, or other materials as you suggest as part of a goodie bag distributed to the other team members.

We are politely requesting you could help us support this great cause by providing one of the following levels of sponsorship:

• £350 – your logo placed on a non-exclusive (see below) part of our car
• £750 – team name takeover (e.g. Team Company Name) and for all team members to wear branded t-shirts with your company name / logo during the drive and stopping points
• £1,500 – your logo to appear exclusively on one door panel of our vehicle
• £3,000 – your logo to appear exclusively on the front or rear of our vehicle
• £10,000 – total car and team takeover – the whole car will exclusively be branded with your logo as you choose and the team members will wear your branded t-shirts with your company name / logo during the drive and stopping points

Given this sponsorship request is intended to benefit the Outward Bound Trust we will be happy to discuss additional ideas or amounts for sponsorship. Our team of three will not take any profits from any sponsorships and have covered the cost of the car, accommodation, and return travel for the trip.

A team of three friends who will be driving 1,000 miles from the United Kingdom through France, Belgium, Holland, Germany, Denmark, and finally to Sweden over 3 days to raise money for the Outward Bound Trust. We have all been set the target of raising £10,000 for the charity and funding the rest of the trip ourselves.

The drive is part of the Rusty Rally event in September 2016 and has the additional challenge of being completed in a car bought for less than £500 (http://www.rustyrally.org.uk/viking-route/).
