Dear Mr, Ms or Mrs.

We are writing to you to ask that you provide our organization with a donation to support our fundraising efforts. We are organizing a community marathon to raise awareness of the challenges that many rural communities in Africa face regarding access to healthcare. Our primary goal is to raise enough funds so that we can ship a substantial portion of medical supplies and equipment we have already collected through donations.

Your donation will help sustain our organization and accomplish our goal. We are not only looking for monetary donations. We are also asking for t-shirts, hats, water and more. We hope that you will be supportive in your response.

We would be grateful if you could support our community marathon. We anticipate over 500 people attending this event, and our youth volunteers are running most of the programming. If you support us, we will include you in all our marketing materials, to our website and plan recognizing your organization at our event.
