About the event

 I have already gotten together with the California Highway Patrol's public relations dept and have been given their support and will be adding an officer's q&a section to my site.  This event will be the first an anual ride and meet planned for the end of summer as a way of celebrating those who made it another year and remembering our fallen brothers and sisters no longer with us. 

Why should you sponsor?

My events do not benefit any one particular rider or club. They support and benefit the riding community at large. By first supplying an A+ database of essential riding knowledge, and then by providing a useful resource for advocating safe and sane riding habits. Given a visitors’ base of over 2 million viewers worldwide, if even 1% of our viewer base were to utilize your services based upon your affiliation, it would produce up to 25,000 times your investment.

Whats up everyone, as a motorcycle rider I started riding 20 years ago, I had a nasty accident that I should not have walked away from and stopped riding. I sold all my bikes and was done.  During that time I had time to reflect, I studied, I learned what I did wrong and why.. Once I got over my fear of recreating that accident, I got another bike and started riding again.  Now I found it very hard to find real info on riding other then the book twist of the wrist or the movie. But other info was hard to come by, finding other riders to ride with proved dificult too.. I started rubber side down as a way to help bridge those gaps...  as both an online riding advice and advocacy blog, weekly meet ups and rides, featured rider videos, product reviews and testing and more.
