About the event
The Rotary Clubs of Northampton will be hosting a Triathlon in aid of the charities 'the Lowdown and Meningitis Now'. All proceeds will go to these charities.
The event will be held at Billing Aquadrome on the 15th of May 2016 and will include a Full, sprint and novice triathlon. As the event organisers (and as university students) we need your support to help fund this event. It would fund the equipment for the race, the emergency life boat services and the marketing of the event.
About the Charities:
The Lowdown: The Lowdown offers free and confidential support to teenagers and young people in Northampton aged 12-15. The drop in service is open 6 days a week and provides information, advice and counselling.
Meningitis Now: Meningitis now is a charity that was set up in the early 1980's and have funded more than £12 million towards vital research. Their search for a vaccine campaign has supported the development of 4 vaccines against different forms of meningitis, three of which have already saved thousands of lives.
