About the event

The Rookie Rugby Festival is about bringing the community together for a day of sport and physical activity. The event is for children across the city to come and have fun while also providing them with the opprotunity to develop and show off their rugby skills that they have learnt through our programming. TIRF recognizes that for many children the cost of sport programming is often a barrier to their participation and so our Rookie Rugby festival is free for all children that attend. 

Why should you sponsor?

Here at TIRF we are all about building the community. By sponsoring an event such as the rookie rugby festival, not only are you providing children with the opprotunity to play but you are strengthening the bonds within your community. Sport is a powerful tool that can teach individuals life skills such as communication and respect and in doing so  provides them with the tools to become positivly contributing members of society. 

Toronto Inner City Rugby Foundation (TIRF)

One of the many services that the Toronto Inner City Rugby Foundation (TIRF) provides children across the city or Toronto with free non-contact rugby programming throughout the summer. Our goal here at TIRF is to build the comunity through rugby and rugby throught the community.
