About the event
The Milk District Main Street is proud to announce the return of Rockin Robinson, a Orlando-centric music festival celebrating artists of all types and genres.
Central Florida music lovers will converge at Robinson Street venues for a day of live music, dancing, and local vendors.
World-class entertainment highlighting favorite artists from Orlando's vibrant music community—will light up indoor and outdoor stages through the neighborhood.
With performances and activities and thousands of expected attendees of all ages, the festival is designed to celebrate music in a welcoming, accessible, and inclusive environment.
Any proceeds will support the District's mission to enhance and preserve the small business community, while nurturing the arts, culture, and ongoing development of our creative district.

HISTORY & BACKGROUND
In 1977 the National Trust for Historic Preservation launched the Main Street America Project to study why downtown business districts were declining, identify the factors affecting the health, development of these areas and develop a comprehensive strategy to save historic commercial buildings. The project laid the groundwork for the Main Street approach to revitalization. What became clear over the years was the need for a strong public-private partnership, a dedicated community-based organization, a commitment to good design, quality promotional programs, and a coordinated, incremental process
