About the event

The Women’s Basketball Sports Society (WBSS) invites you to become a sponsor for Rock the Mic event. WBSS represents healthy play, respect, togetherness, community, and FUN. We are a Sports Social Club that encourages active and healthy lifestyle for women of all backgrounds ages 18 and up. Our mission is to empower women by promoting unity through the active and socialness of sports. WBSS is dedicated to advocating social fellowship, developing the potential of women, and improving communities through a variety of community engagement projects.

Rock the Mic will be held in support against domestic abuse. All processed raised will go to Fort Bend Women's Center.

This show will consist of comedy, spoken word, an all female rap cypher, and special performances from local artists. All funding will go towards venues, food, dj, and other deemed necessary requirements. Thank you in advance for your generous sponsorship.
