About the event
ROCK the BORO is Owensboro’s Rock Music Festival! This event is planned to be a one day event packed with National, Regional and Local acts. Our plan is to grow the event from one day to three days over the next few years. With proper financial planning this event is set to make a huge impact in the local market with travelers, vendor sales and merchants as well as for the growth of the music scene as a whole. There is no other event like it in the Tri-State region. In the land of Bluegrass we’ve been told there is a need to rock and that is exactly why we are putting this festival together. We need your help to make this a reality and bring Owensboro some fresh music and bring some fresh tourists in as well! All sponsorships are tax deductible and any amount helps.
This will be the inaugural year for ROCK the BORO Festival in Owensboro, KY. Currently planned as a one day music festival with the plan of growing to 3 days over the next few years.
In the land of a thousand festivals we want to expand upon the musical landscape currently in Owensboro and bring a festival geared toward rock and roll. This festival will have national headliners, regional acts as well as local support and promises to bring festival goers from all over the Tri-State and our long term goal is to bring them from all over the country!

Not only is there a need for this event there is a passion amogst the community to break out of the ordinary and live life out loud.

Our goal is to help musicians on their road to success by booking shows, putting on concerts, promoting bands and offering artist management services. We help venues with booking so they will stay stacked with talent and we also offer booking services for events both locally and abroad.
We have been featured in the Owensboro Times, The Owensboro Messenger Inquirer, Interviewed by 97x, Ghost of Thor Podcast as well as other media engagements LS Music Promotions LLC has been a business for less than a year and in the time we have been a company we have put on a host of successful concerts in multiple locations over the Tri-State, are active in band, event and venue booking, manage multiple artists and are the sole bookers for Gettysburg Bike Week in Gettysburg PA, an event that attracts 25k participants.
Our vision for the company will be to open an all ages venue local to Owensboro and also offer a recording studio for all artists to enjoy.
