About the event

What Is R.A.D
Rock Against Depression, or RAD, is a community driven music festival that seeks to create a platform for talking about mental health issues in a positive light. From rock icons and indie artists, to hip-hop legends and mix tape masters- we're bringing together community leaders to not only raise money to fight back against the growing mental health epidemic, but to speak up about getting help.

Proceeds from RAD Will go directly to our community grant program, which completely covers the cost of mental health care for low-income families.

When and Where is RAD Taking Place?
May 13th, 2016 - Orpheum Theatre in Los Angeles, California.

Who's Playing at RAD?
We're talking to Imagine Dragons, Best Coast, American Football, Four Year Strong, J$tash, and more. Sponsorship funds would cover the cost of booking fees.

Who's Behind This Project?
Anxiety Gaming is a 501(c)(3) non-profit that offers completely free services to the gaming community, 24/7. What started as a simple twitch.tv stream has evolved into an international team of gamers who work one-on-one to help gamers recover from mental health issues.

AG personally matches people with the perfect therapists local to them at costs as low as $30 a session. For those unable to afford care, our grant program completely covers the cost of mental health care. Outside of the internet, we're constantly throwing events to raise awareness, giving consoles and computers to youth homes, and visiting mental health rehabs with mobile arcades in hopes of raising spirits.
