About the event
The Road to Start Summit is a pitch event of the student initiative Start Munich (https://startmunich.de/). Six innovative startups pitch their business in front of an audience of students and a high-quality jury consisting of jurors from business and science. The jury includes serial entrepreneur Max-Josef Meier, the founder of Munich-based startup finn.auto and Stylight.
The event connects startups, investors, and students virtually and helps you to expand your network and build up your knowledge. The winner of the event gets invited to the Start Summit 2021 (https://www.startsummit.ch/) in St. Gallen, the biggest student-led event for entrepreneurship and technology. The chosen startup has the chance to win 25000 CHF.
Why should you sponsor?
The participating corporations have the chance to network with the startup founders and the participating students. Munich is home to two of the most prestigious universities in Europe (TUM, LMU) giving you access to some of the most talented students in the world.
In last year's live-event, over 250 students participated on the ground. This year we expect over 300 participants with a goal of 1000 students.
After the event, you can network with these students in virtual booths. This gives you the chance to experience a new, innovative way to get to know your future employees and gain brand awareness.

Nicolay GeroldThe organizer of this event, START Munich is a student initative at the TU Munich. Since 2003, it brings together the most prospective startup talents in Munich. Since its foundation in 2003, over 250 member have been active in the club and have founded successful startups such as Freeletics, Bits & Pretzels, and Kreditech.
The organizer of Start Summit, START Global is an internationally positioned organization whilst being locally anchored within European start-up hubs. By this means, it lays ground for fostering and accelerating regional entrepreneurship ecosystems. On the societal level, our goal is to create a better understanding of tomorrow's technological changes and problems. A new generation of students grasping future opportunities is rising in the START-Network.
