Richardson, TX — This fall, the Richardson Home School Association is teeing up a night the whole family will remember. On Thursday, October 16, 2025, Lockwood Distilling Company will transform into a golf lover's playground for the 1st Annual RHSA One Shot Showdown — an evening of fun, food, and friendly competition, headlined by a $25,000 Hole-in-One Challenge.

A Night Where Every Swing Counts

Forget the driving range. We're bringing in the DryveBox Golf Simulator, so you'll be standing on Pebble Beach's iconic 7th hole without ever leaving Richardson. The rules are simple, the stakes are real:

• Your very first swing in your first paid turn is your shot at $25,000.
• Every swing goes toward the live Closest-to-the-Pin leaderboard.
• One ticket = three swings + three raffle entries.
• Insurance-certified yardage, no mulligans, no "Happy Gilmore" swings — just pure golf glory.

Family Fun, Richardson Style

We're calling it Family Golf Night for a reason. The kids' zone will be stocked with games and activities to keep younger guests busy while parents take their swings (waivers and guardianship required). Lauren McAllister

Director and Specialist in Early Childhood Development

Lauren McAllister is the director of Richardson Home School Association. With more than a decade of experience working in specialized, private, NGO, and public schools (Rise School, RISD, RHSA), Mrs. McAllister is your informed partner in elevating educational experiences for children and their families. Mrs. McAllister  brings a wealth of experience to the directorship having previously overseen programming at Rise School during which she interacted with community partners on a regular basis. She is poised to make lasting connections with potential donors and sponors on behalf of the students and families at North Texas's fastest-growing homeschool co-op.
