About the event
IT'S A REVOLUTION, JOIN THE ARMY !!
RFS is Shenandoah Valley's Premier Combat Sports League drawing athletes and fans from across the Mid-Atlantic! We host the top athletes from the Mid-Atlantic and beyond, including athletes from as far away as Massachusetts, Florida, and Georgia.
To date nine alumni have gone on to compete at major national promotions such as Lion Fights, Glory Sports International, and Legacy. We have also been featured on AXSTV's "Inside MMA" twice. The features have received over 268,000 views via Youtube and over 2 million views via the AXSTV Cable Channel.
Our fans are the absolute best!! They are well mannered and supportive of each event along with the brands associated with us. We serve a wide demographic that goes beyond traditional MMA demographics. Traditionally, MMA's target demographic is overwhelmingly males 18-24. The average MMA audience is 86% male, 14% female. At RFS we reach a audience comprised of :
- 68% Male (21% 18-24, 28% 25-34, 18% 35-44)
- 32% Female (10% 18-24, 13% 25-34, 9% 35-44)
- $39,284 average annual income
We reach 24,000+ each week via social media platforms with a peak reach of 40,000+ the week preceding and following each live event.
RFS is broadly recognized for quality and intense competition. Coaches and athletes regard RFS as the event to highlight their careers as they make the leap to major national promotions. Essentially we're the promotion that packs a big punch.
For our 16th event we have planned :
- 15 bouts including the region's best talents
- 2 title fights
- Fan/Brand photo kiosk
- Fan/Fighter photo kiosk
- Coverage via DropKick MMA Radio (including post fight and brand rep interviews)
- Film coverage (for later editing, packaging, and distribution via a internet sports distribution company)
- Swag giveaways for the audience
RFS is a fun time for all in attendance. You will never hear any profanity in event or athlete walkout music. It is important to us to represent ourselves, our brand, and the brands of our sponsors in a positive way that conveys a commitment to quality to consumers both large and small.
