Get ready for Retro City Festival 2019!

This is the second annual Retro City Festival taking place at the famous Pomona Fairplex in Expo Hall 9. Join us on January 5th and 6th, 2019 for a weekend full of retro gaming fun!

Retro City Festival is an annual celebration dedicated to the history of video games, arcades and pinball. Come experience hundreds of classic arcades, pinball machines, tournaments, an interactive video game history museum, live music, vendors and more! We showcase the largest collection of vintage video game consoles in all of California!

Retro City Festival aims to be a family-friendly event and welcomes attendees of all ages. Kids ages 10 and under even get in FREE!

Why should you sponsor?

This is our second annual event and we are looking to grow! Last year's Retro City Festival was more successful than we could've ever imagined. Our attendance number reacher over 4500 people at Retro City Festival 2018 and we are looking to more than double our numbers for next year's event.

We know that as a new expo there will be challenges in getting support from other outside companies but we are ready to prove ourselves. We are offering extremely competitive sponsorship packages to help promote your business at our event. We are looking for companies that are eager to be a part of something unique, exciting and fun! 

As a new convention we are not just looking to monetize off our sponsorships and then say farewell. We are looking for continued business partnerships that will help both us and our sponsor's grow. We are extremely focused on our surrounding communities and cross-promotion of other businesses. We greatly appreciate each and every sponsor who believes in Retro City Festival enough to want to help it grow and we promise to do absolutely everything we can to help our sponsor's grow too!

Matthew Vasquez

Retro City Festival was founded by Steven Torres and Matthew Vasquez. We have both worked with vintage video games, arcades and pinball for many years. We share a passion for the preservation of the history behind these games that are fondly remebered by many people around the world. 

We have valuable business expertise that stems from the experience gained from operating our two video game retail stores and arcade in Southern California. Starting with the loyal customers from our stores, we strived to create a community that shared the same passion as we do through fun community events and gatherings. It was through these events that Retro City Festival was born. We envisioned an event where thousands of people could come together and celebrate this fun and exciting hobby.

We are both extremely hard working entrepeneurs who dedicate all of our time to helping our businesses succeed. We value community efforts and believe that cross-promotion between companies is one of the best ways to grow. We promise to always be hard-working and dependable business partners no matter what the project is.
