About the event
Campus sexual violence impacts 1 in 4 women, 1 in 33 men, and disproportionate numbers of transgender and gender non-conforming student members of collegiate communities. RespectCon is one of the few spaces that the greatest minds on the front lines of this work can develop strategies to decrease and eliminate this devastating problem. RespectCon is entering its fourth year and has enjoyed tremendous success. Past years yielded nearly 300 participants from 75 institutions located in over 20 states! It was also recently awarded the 2015-2016 NASPA Silver Excellence Award in the Violence Education and Prevention, Crisis Management, and Campus Safety category. RespectCon is projected to have the greatest number of attendance since its inception. This requires Emory's Respect Program to consider a conference location that is conducive to the event's estimated attendance of nearly 200 student affairs and community-based professionals serving both private and public institutions of Higher Learning. We are asking for your help, please consider being part of true change. We gladly accept contributions of any size and welcome you to consider sponsoring our event.
