About the event

The 2016 Red Carpet Fashion Show is about the community of Brisbane (and parts of Queensland) coming together to promote multiculutralism.

We reach out to many community groups of different nationalities to provide a platform with which to highlight our oneness and togetherness.

The event is an opportunity for local designers, models and performers to showcase their creative flair and talent to the City of Brisbane.

Why should you sponsor?

The question should really be 'why shouldn't a sponsor support our event?'

We are in a position to offer fantastic reach across multiple communities. Where it can often be difficult to gain penetration into diverse cultural sectors, our event(s) cut through the barriers by placing everyone under one roof.

For any potential supporters, we offer exposure to not only our performers but also our partners, affiliates and social media followers. With regards to social media, we have over 40,000 likes and followers at the time of writing.

As you may be aware, if someone is representing one community then there is automatic interest from the rest of the members too. It is just how it works because people are rightly proud of their heritage and background.

We understand brand management with members of our team currently working or having worked for companies and in positions such as; Walt Disney, Migration Law Firm, National Sales Manger in Education, Regional Coordinator Education, Event Management, Talent Agency Management and so many more.

We have the network for the event itself but require sponsorship and support to deliver the very, very best for Brisbane.

Red Carpet Functions (RCF) provide multicultural community based fashion shows to bring together models, designers, singers and performers from all ethnic backgrounds.

Building from the success of the 2015 showcase, where over 450 guests attended, 73 models walked, 15 deisgners showed & multiple live performances put together a three-hour spectacular, we are deep in production for the 2016 show which is to be held at the Brisbane City Hall.

With a number of smaller community events continually running throughout the year, RCF are always supporting fundraising efforts from others and happy to support the community in any we can.

RCF Owner Reena Augustine recently made the shortlist for the Mayor's Business Awards of Brisbane as well as being a confirmed finalist for the Brisbane Woman in Business Awards of 2016 & has only just been confirmed as a finalist in the Australia Wide India & Australia Business & Community Awards.

Reena's passion, drive and commitment to bringing people together remains undiminished and with this year's showcase and venue of City Hall, the team at Red Carpet Functions have pulled off something of a coup.

In all that we do, we focus on the community and in making people smile and feel good about themselves.
