About the event

Dear interested Rebel,

REBEL THEATRICS creates a space that nurtures joy, artistry, and mental health. We are a movement and won't rely on a model but instead stay committed to being revolutionary, innovative, and inclusive of elevating theatrical education.

Our performance arts conventions are three-day intensives to focus on the most modern and imaginative aspects of the performance arts industry. We will take theatre and film and blend it with motion capture, direction, stage combat, costume design, and more.

We are also making mental health a priority. It's time. Using mental health professionals, advocating performers, community compassion, and the courage to bring up the conversation, we hope to start training young artists to equalize their emotional health with their physical health and creative craft. We want to provide healthy challenges, raise the standards for arts education, and start a movement where the arts and the artist are equally and highly valued.
We serve young artists, ages 10 - 19, and their guardians to create national connection, local community, and a bond through the love of arts and people.

We want to elevate artistic education - in theatre, film, tv, broadcasting, directing, design, all of it! Raise the damn bar. The once "goal" is now the base level for performing arts training. We want to make mental health a regular conversation and house daily application. We want to bring joy by singing, dancing, and acting. And we hope you're willing to consider helping us do that.
